Description for our service

Amberlite HPR1100Na, formerly called Marathon C (Na), ion exchange resin is a uniform particle size, gel, strong acid cation exchange resin for industrial softening application. It is a high-quality resin for use in industrial softening application when high performance and cost-effective operation is required. The chemical properties and particle size of the resin have been optimized to help yield excellent operating capacity and rinse characteristics, while reducing chemical regenerate and water usage.

Amberlite HPR4100Cl, formerly Marathon A2/Upcore Mono A2-200 ion exchange resin, is a uniform particle size, gel, strong base anion (type II) exchange resin for industrial demineralization applications when a balance of operating performance and simple, cost-effective operation is required. The chemical properties and particle size of the resin have been optimized to help yield excellent operating capacity and rinse characteristics, reducing chemical regenerate and rinse water usage while maintaining a superior physical stability. Compared to a type I strong base anion resin, a type II resin will yield greater operating capacity due to more complete regeneration. It is best suited to treat water in which silica and carbon dioxide do not exceed 30% of the total anion and the service and caustic regeneration temperature does not consistently exceed 35°C (95°F).

Purolite ion exchange resin has been used extensively as a practical and effective form of water treatment for many years. It is often used with water softening, which is its most common application. The ion exchange resin, Purolite removes soluble ionized contaminants such as hardness and alkalinity from water via a reversible ionic interchange between a solid phase (resin beads) and liquid phase (water). Resins are used to reduce arsenic, nitrates, uranium, perchlorate and more. The attraction is used to remove dissolved ionic contaminants from water. The exchange process occurs between a solid (resin or a zeolite) and a liquid (water).
